Sumo suits
will make any event one to remember. Whether you take part or
are just a spectator you will be laughing your head off. Wearing
a sumo suit will make you the size of a massive Japanese sumo
wrestler, they even include head guards in the style of the
traditional sumo hair cut.
A standard sumo suit hire package consists of a pair of fully padded adult or teen sumo suits and protective head and neck gear, a very thickly padded mat which is approx 13ft by 13ft and safety instructions suitable for indoor or outdoor use. We also have public liability insurance.
There are many different ways of playing with the sumo suits, the most common and easiest way is to either push, pull, trip, body slam, throw, SPLAT or to push your opponent out of the ring. To prolong the rounds it is better to start from the outside of the inner ring, this way the rounds are more tactical as there is no run ups to instantly knock your opponent off their feet.
The sumo's must only be used on the mat supplied, protective equipment should be worn at all times and shoes must be removed before stepping onto the mat!
